About me

I'm currently looking for a new Junior to Mid Weight Interior Design role in London.

As a highly polished and creative individual, with excellent organisation, presentation and communication skills, I offer a Diploma in Interior Design from the KLC School of Design and over 18 months experience as an Interior Designer within high-end residential design. Previous to this I have several years experience in Sales and Marketing in the industry.

Whilst the core of my experience is within high-end residential design, I am open to considering other sectors within the industry such as hospitality and retail/commercial design.

Skills

IT skills include:, AutoCAD and Vectorworks (Proficient in both), Photoshop, Sketch Up, Adobe Suite, Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Core skills:, Specifying, sourcing and procurement of FF&E - specifically high-end fittings and hard finishes., Drawing up plans and elevations in CAD, including lighting, small power plans, technical drawings and measured surveys., Project scheduling and project management., Client facing skills effectively communicating with sub-contractors and suppliers., Concept design, hand sketching, with natural artistic ability, and visual presentation methods., Document management and project/design administration.

Sector Experience

18+ months experience of running high-end/luxury residential design and refurbishment projects., Interior Designer at GILB Construction (a design and build company) assisting in the project management and scheduling of high-end/luxury residential refurbishments. Required frequent sit visits, liaison with Site Managers, overseeing work of sub-contractors, liaison with suppliers, drawings in AutoCAD and all related document management/administration., Interior Design Assistant at Turner Pocock Interior Design - assisting in the design and installation of high-end residential projects, gaining experience of concept development, hand sketching, sourcing, project scheduling, procurement and installation., Previous experience across sales, marketing and PR, specifically for Turner Pocock Cazalet Wallpapers: a high-end designer wallpaper company.
