About me
Having worked at Press to Print since leaving University in 2005, I feel I am ready to move forward with my career. I have gained strong knowledge of the print industry, and have consistently improved my design, mac and artworking skills over the years. I therefore feel am now ready for a new challenge.
My abilities cover a wide range of areas; I am fully competent in using all of the Adobe Creative Suite 5, in
particular Indesign.
We have several clients who regard me as their main designer, whom I deal with on a regular basis. A lot of the time the client will bring in a mock up of what they require, and I am then able to produce artwork from scratch. Accuracy is a must for these clients, therefore attention to detail is always very important to me when producing artwork. This could be anything from logo & business stationery design, through to mailings, leaflets, brochures and large format graphics.
I am happy both being the creative ideas person, and also the artworker who is able to produce the final print ready work from the original brief. I often prioritise my own workload, and am therefore very organised and fully aware of deadlines having to be kept.
I am also required to use a PC some of the time to produce print ready files from word, excel, powerpoint & publisher, and I am used to amending existing artwork files on a regular basis.
In my spare time I enjoy designing wedding stationery, and produced my own for my wedding in June 2010.
I have designed stationery for many others since doing this.
My interests outside of work include cycling, camping, music festivals and socialising with friends.
I would welcome the opportunity for an interview and a chance to present my full portfolio.
I am looking for a salary of around £25,000, and I am available for interview any weekday preferably before 9.00am or after 5.30pm or at weekends.
