About me

Here you are. Having probably stumbled upon my humble abode on LinkedIn, which asks me to summarize my professional life in a few words.
So, let's start from the beginning.

I spent my formative years in the busy lanes of Mumbai; then moving to the even busier corridors of advertising agencies in Mumbai and Dubai.

Graduating with a major in Advertising and Marketing in 2000, my penmanship started with Touchstone Advertising, as an English Copywriter handling the prestigious Bajaj Appliances account. In my 3 years there, I not only won and worked on a number of accounts, but also scooped a Print Silver Trophy at ABBY's along the way.
In 2004, Leo Burnett Dubai beckoned and I moved in here - lock, stock and sharpened pencils included. Convinced with the ability to build not only my portfolio but an entire agency's as well, I later moved to Nebula Advertising, where I would spend the next 5 years working hard, convincing clients, nurturing budding copywriters, and needless to say, writing a good bit of copy.
Next came Iris ME (which is now M&C Saatchi), where I built on my FMCG proficiency through various Unilever brands - Clear, Signal, Lifebuoy - and other clients like, Daman Financial, Aptamil, Dubai First.

Soon I found myself settled in at tamra C2, as their resident Associate Creative Director, handling a team of restless creative minds for brands such as Western Union, Maserati, Mondelez, ENOC, to name a few.

The metaphorical greener pastures gestured with a whole new and refreshing shade of experience - as I am now leading the copy side within the effervescent marketing department of Dubai World Trade Centre.
