About me
I am a second year student currently studying BSc Biochemistry at King's College London. I am now on a gap year and looking for opportunities to develop my creative writing and journalism skills in the media industry, my goal being to eventually write for major publications. Through past work experience, I have had the opportunity to develop and practice many transferable skills such as: writing, editing, leadership, communication, ability to meet deadlines, networking, administration and customer service. I have worked as a Content and Event Manager for IMT Innovation as well as written articles for the Journal of Young Investigators. I have held jobs in retail (Muji and Primark) as well as participated as a volunteer for many charities like Muslim Hands. Through these placements, I have realised that I aspire to produce honest content, highlighting misconceived and often unspoken events in today's times.
