About me
Sara Carramiñana Pellejero is a Spanish artist with a degree in architecture who turned her career towards the world of animation shortly after completing her studies. She began her journey in the animation industry as a freelancer in Spain, but soon had the opportunity to work in Belfast, where she participated in the animation of Zig&Zag, a cut-out style TV series. This experience served as a springboard for her to go to work in the Anime and video game industry in Japan, where she has been working for seven years and has participated in the animation of such important projects as One Piece Gold, Houseki no Kuni, Beastars, the latest Black Clover movie, and the video game Dragon Ball: The Breakers.
She had previously completed a master's degree in animation, whose final project was the short film Death Scissors, which won first prize at the 12th Centro Ibercaja La Rioja International Animation Short Film Competition and was selected for festivals such as Zootropio, CARTOON Film Festival, and Alcine.
