Covering Letter - Sabrina Pedrazzi

Dear Sir or Madam

I am writing to apply for the position of graphic designer, as advertised on the Creative Pool website.

I have been working in graphic design for over 15 years after gaining a Masters of Art degree from the University of Bologna. Design is my passion, and as such, I recently made the huge commitment to move to England from Milan, in the hope that I will be able to continue working in this area. I have the ability to design from home and continue to produce advertising campaigns for The Cotton Factory Outlet in Milan. In Italy I worked and published material for Coop Supermarket and Danone,

where typeset, layout and image manipulation were extremely important.

I recently setup up Petissimo Graphic design in London; my small company, where I work as a freelance in the pet service industry. This gives me the opportunity to update my design skills, work with software update and practice new styles.

I am a highly motivated individual, who enjoys working to deadlines and design briefs, believing I can deliver projects best suited to the needs of the customer and the high standards expected. I am able to work independently, or as part of a team and am very happy working under pressure.

I believe I have the required skills and characteristics to successfully carry out this position, working for a number of years with the software packages outlined. I am a native Italian speaker, with higher intermediate English. I would be delighted to have the opportunity to demonstrate my skills and abilities with your company.
