About me

I am a student at the University of Bolton studying Film and Media Studies with History (BA) i will complete my course in Decemeber 2008. I am now finishing my 10,000 word dissertation on the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) during the American Civil Rights in America during the 1960's. This assignment has helped me improve my written expression, showing research skills, and analysiing topics and is about interpretation. I have learned alot about the Civil Rigts Movement and its leader such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X and have painted a picture of the attitude and the turmoil America was experiencing. I throughly enjoy history and Hollywood film. My ideal career would be a film critic.

Duirng my time in Bolton university i have written few film reviews such as A Clockwork Orange, The Graduate and Easy Rider which were published in Student Direct the Bolton University newspaper. I have done work experinec in Rochdale Observer, Lancashire Telegraph and Channel M.

I work weekends as a Sales Assiatant in Internacionale a fashion store for women, here I have improved my communication skills, meeting new people all the time. I have worked here for two years,and gained valuable experience on how the retail world operates. As a Sales Assiatnt i work as a cashier, security in the changing rooms as well as the shop floor, and replen stock and general cleaning duties.
