I recently came across your advertisement for a Graphic Designer, and would like to express my interest for the post and explain how I feel I am suitable for the role. After reading your job description and person specification I feel that my qualifications and work experience perfectly match.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design and have gained experience after working freelance for over 2 years. Furthermore my 1 year working as an in-house Graphic Designer has given me the confidence, understanding and a wide range of skills needed for this post. I am well versed in different areas of design and have successfully designed solutions for print, digital and online. My experience in the industry has involved many key duties and responsibilities including:
- The ability to manage a heavy workload whilst maintaining strict organisation to meet deadlines
- Understanding the clients needs and developing suitable concepts and deliver excellent visual solutions
- The ability to understand and adhere to brand guidelines
- Meeting/liaising with clients/printers to discuss the objectives and requirements
- Knowledge of different printing processes, paper stock and appropriate uses
- Working alone or as part of a team as per requirements of the project
- Working within a Marketing department as an in-house Graphic Designer
- Meticulous attention to detail at all times
I am comfortable with Mac operating systems as well as Windows. In addition, I have in-depth knowledge and practice with the following software:

I am very passionate about all aspects of art & design and my ultimate aim in life is to become the best possible artist and designer that I can be. Art & design have always been a major part of my life, allowing me to express myself and to convey emotion through my work.
