Hello,

I always had a passion for visuals and art, this was my favourite and most succesful subject at school which lead me to train even further. I went to South East Essex college to study art and design and took up an interest in photography which I later studied as well as participate in some local competitons which I was able to win awards in the best portrait and landscapes sections.
I moved quickly into the reprographics and print industry which was my first real job related to the media, I leart a lot from this in terms of deadline pressure accuracy and page layouts, the do and don'ts if you like. I enjoyed the disipline involved in print but found in frustrating at times as I was not able to express any creativity in the work as it was more production based. It did how ever teach me a lot about how to set up jobs to make it print more succesfully and due the the large volume and varity of different designers work I viewed I picked up a few tricks on the way.

After quite along break I decided to retrain in graphic design and attended Central Graphics Academy.During this time I was able to work and get paid for some free lance work and build a contacts list and take advise from people in the industry. I then went on to train in web design and worked on some basic coding and flash animation, this is an area which I would like to get some more experience in in the future.

I would like to follow up my studying by completing a degree in graphic design next year as well as work either free lanced or full time. Please feel free to ask any question related to the work I have done or past experiences and I will be happy to answer them.
