As a skilled senior graphic designer with more than 10 years' experience developing and executing a wide variety of successful brand developments, print and digital projects, I possess the skills and thinking that will benefit any organisational team.
My background includes conceptualising, designing and implementing creative projects and services from concept through completion for a diverse portfolio of clients, including retail, property, FMCG and financial. With expertise in a broad range of design software applications—along with my ability to collaborate effectively with clients, peers, and senior management teams—I am confident that my talents and abilities will be a significant benefit to your team.
Highlights of my experience include:
- Leading international and local design projects, through all facets of the creative process, from conceptualisation through execution, naming and store implementation, for a variety of clients, including Rootura (Saudi Arabia Organic Market), Hyprop Investments (South Africa's leading REIT), Vivo Energy (Partnership with Shell) and First Ascent (South Africa's leading technical outdoor clothing and equipment brand) to name a few.
- Creating and presenting brand concepts to shareholders, CEOs and stakeholders. Included name development, brand strategy and look and feel.
- Distilling brand strategy and articulation into effective designs, visually reinforcing customer communication through design considerations, and crafting a polished execution of design elements, along with brand manual and application guidelines.
- Implementing cross department strategies and ideas to allow better collaboration between teams during projects.
- Demonstrating proficiency in comprehensive Adobe programs as well as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, 3D software such as Sketchup, while being completely at ease on both Mac and PC platforms.
