About me
I was excited to see an ad which almost perfectly matches my experience, skills and career ambitions. Aside from the right qualification (BA Hons in Journalism & English from Coventry University), here are three key reasons to consider my application:
1: Solid experience creating copy for businesses
Despite currently working voluntarily as a Content Writer, I have also worked as a press officer, creating press releases and responding to client communications Equally adept at writing "call-to-action" copy for direct mail, print and Google Adwords campaigns.
2: Able to pitch new ideas
Having worked for a well-reputed auditing firm, I would have to pitch business strategies to companies in board meetings before composing a full report of their current effectiveness.
3: Unstoppable enthusiasm
Five years of devising strategies and advertising campaigns confirmed that my choice to pursue a career in copywriting was the right one for me. Whether it's working in cross-functional teams or alone on charity projects, seeing the tangible results of my marketing efforts is a huge, personal reward.
I bring solid research skills (honed from years of respecting deadlines) and I get the job done. From strategy creation through to organising conference literature print-runs, I give full attention to every aspect of a project.
