About me
Hello, my name is Ruth.
I am interested in the link between design and technology and how to make the experience personal to the user through different mediums.
I involve my artistic routes in my work wherever possible to explore the personal experience.
I studied Digital Interaction Design at Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee, Scotland, which led to my passion of creating a mix of digital and hand drawn elements together. At university, my course was broad, allowing us to visualise different aspects of the design role; putting together mood boards, developing websites, working in different teams with different courses, creating scenarios, developing design strategies and focusing on the user experience, while also creating good design. I enjoyed my experience at university. It took me down a different path than I expected and through this I learned unexpected ways to involve my artistic roots into the digital age.
