RE: Interior Designer Vacancy

Having recently graduated from Kingston University with a 2:1 BA Honours degree in Interior and Spatial Design, I am now looking for an exciting and challenging role in a dynamic company. I am a bright, motivated and dedicated individual and want to join a company that can offer the same.

For the past six months I have had a work placement with Daneshgar Architects, a global architectural firm. Based in London, I have been running one of their major projects in Kensington. I manage the site on a daily basis, and this involves many duties such as working along side contractors, surveying land, reading and amending plans, ordering material and writing progress reports.

I feel that this high level role and excellent exposure to the industry has allowed me to completely engage in the world of architecture, and has given me a firm understanding of the importance of communication and thorough organisation. On a personal level, I feel I have learnt many new skills, including using my initiative, being both flexible and adaptable to ever changing circumstances, excellent interpersonal skills as well as being able to engage in a high level of commitment and motivation towards the job.
