About me

Hi, My name is Russell Gooday and I'm an experienced freelance 3D CG
Artist I've worked internationally in the UK, Middle East and Asia.
Over the last 10 years my illustration work has been predominately for
natural science media. I have a number of high profile clients
including Dorling Kindersley, The Natural History Museum, Harper
Collins, Kingfisher and Hamlyn. My creative strengths are in 3D
modeling, texturing, surfacing, lighting and general rigging. With
experience of being self employed my skills are not solely limited to
hands-on creative work though. I have a good deal of experience in
handling the technical and administrative aspects of projects from
initial inquiry though to completion. In addition to my natural science
3D illustration, my work includes Interior Design, Furniture Design,
Product Visualisation and 3D Character Work. For examples of the
