I was excited to learn of the above job opening on the creativepool website, as the position fits my background, talents and career aspirations.

I have worked within the Financial Services industry for 10 years, and have been an Operations Manager for the past 4 years. Throughout my career history, I have strived to challenge myself by learning new skills and taking myself out of my comfort zone regularly. This has led to experiences in project management, analyst positions, finance and budget planning as well as the management of numerous teams with differing issues and complexity.

I am certain that the skills that I have acquired will allow for me to contribute effectively in the advertised Presentations Team Leader role.

Here are, specifically, some experiences that I feel make me ideally suited to this role:

- Effective management of various operational teams performance against KPIs and objectives with a proven track record in coaching and developing to enhance team performance. Ability to drive process improvement and operational efficiency, which is supported by the knowledge gained through a postgraduate award in Leading Operations & Process Management in the Service Sector.

- Experience in overseeing the transition of an operational unit through a change period where a new IT platform was introduced. This included coaching and supporting the team through the change, using strong analytical skills to create detailed reports illustrating the benefits of the change and once the IT platform had come into place, providing daily reports of how the new system was working.

- Management of a HR team within a large operation (200+ employees) which dealt with interviewing new employees and seeing staff through the leavers process, liaising with external companies for temp contracts, dealing with complex sickness and absence procedures, management of holiday rota and overseeing the units headcount.
