Rui Xue

Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to you because I feel that my educational background, personal characteristics and career goals all together make the post as the Interaction designer suitable for me. I would like to briefly give you a first impression of myself and show you why I am a strong candidate for this position.

Since 2007, I have set my career goal as an Interaction designer. After three years bachelor and two years master study, the knowledge I have learned, together with the experiences I have gained from many projects, have given me a strong confidence to become a good interaction designer.

My technical expertise includes proficient in using design tools (including Adobe Creative Suite, Axure RP, Autodesk 3dsMAX); fluency in web design and scripting languages ( HTML 5, jQuery, CSS, Java); and experiences in development methodologies such as Agile and User-centered design method.

My master thesis is to design a mobile web-based child vaccination service system in low resource of Uganda. In this project, I had the opportunity to work with interdisciplinary project partners, and also participated in creating a real world product. The project result has been published in "the World Congress on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering" in May, 2012.

I hope this short introduction has given you a fairly good picture of who I am and why I am a suitable candidate for this position. I hope you could give me a chance to further prove myself.
