About me
My name is Rebecca Smith and I would like to introduce myself to you as an applicant as a Junior Graphic Designer / Freelancer or Possible Intern for you business. I am from Australia and am currently residing in London after spending the year travelling throughout South/Central America and Europe.
I am a recent graduate (2011) whom studied Computer Based Art and Design at the University of The Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia. There and as a freelance designer over the past year, I have gained valuable experience
designing materials such as, event posters, logos, business cards, websites, illustrations and t-shirt designs.
I take great pride in the design work I create and always strive to deliver an effective, focused, and on target product that fits my clients needs. I am a creative, reliable, hard working designer who can work well in a team
environment or individually. My career goals are to continue to learn and grow as a graphic designer while utilising my creativity, education, knowledge and people skills to benefit my employer.

I am proficient with industry-standard design software including, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Bridge. I am also a skilled Photographer and Illustrator.
Sector Experience
Design Internship at The Fall Clothing, QLD Australia. 2011, Throughout my Internship I created The Fall Clothing’s summer range for 2011/2012. The shirts were sold at various stores on The Sunshine Coast and online. I was responsible for the T-shirt designs, complete Look book and Fashion Photography., Freelance Designer for King Kong Sales & Pure Event Management,, During this time I was responsible for - flyers & posters, website design, logos, business cards and stationery.
