About me

After graduating from Cumbria College of Art and Design in 1984, I

continued my education and completed an HND in Design and Adverting

at Hounslow Borough College Middlesex, with a diploma in typography.

I spent my first two years working in a design consultancy called 1st Unit in Stanwell Moor Heathrow, creating corporate brochures and logo's. company clients included, Colt Computers, Air Plus, Trico, Cow and Oral B.

In 1988 I joined BSB Dorlands as an Art Director working a wide

range of below the line projects including The Milk Marketing

Board, Post Office, Royal Mint, Apples and Pears Council,

Falcon Bikes and Erskin Communications.

Two years later I joined Solutions by Design to work on Cable

and Wireless, Great Ormond street Hospital, Halifax Bank, Friends

of the Earth, Sony and Hornby Toys.

In 1994 I joined Saatchi & Saatchi to work on the national press

campaigns for The Dixons Stores Group, the UK's largest retail accounts.

When the The Dixons Stores Group account moved to M&C Saatchi in 1995,

being one of the main art directors for the group I also moved to continue working on the account, where I've been for the past eleven years.
