Sir/Madam,

After ten years of working for London Underground, due to restructuring and a desire to find a change of scene, I find myself at liberty. To this end I would like to offer my CV for your consideration.

As you will see from my CV, I have had a varied career and have extensive experience across many areas of design. This includes the fast and furious world of newspaper and periodical publications where I learnt the importance of time management; the fun and often liver damaging world of below the line advertising direct marketing which pushed my creative problem solving skills; and the more staid and steady world of internal corporate communications which relies more heavily on branding guidelines and consistency. In addition to this I have had vast experience of prepress and print production and have also dabbled in the world of web design and development.

Aside from considerable experience in all the usual software packages, I am also technically adept and am excellent at managing workflow and streamlining production. I excel at photo manipulation. I can stick to guidelines yet still deliver a creative solution. I can work to deadlines and am excellent at finding quicker and better ways of doing things.
