About me

In 2010 I graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons.) Degree in Contemporary Film and Video at Manchester School of Art, specialising in producing and project management. Since then I have been involved in various short films (documentary and fictional) as commissions, volunteer work and personal projects.

I am interested in many forms of art/media: art; life-drawing; painting; graphics and photography but my passion is filmmaking.

I am committed to filmmaking and want to develop my skills, knowledge and attributes within that industry. I am continuing with my own development, both informally through reading, short courses etc, and formally, for example I am in the process of completing a formal ProTools sound editing course.

Sector Experience

Commision: Scimorph Film: A 10 minute film produced to promote an educational software and instruct on how to use it., RSA Catalyst Programme: Combination of volunteering and funded work. Assisted a primary school to make a short film. Developed a scheme to use a donated bus as a mobile learning unit., Voluntary Online Platform Assistance: built, maintained and handed over an online collaboration envirnement for City Camp Manchester., Internship with Future Artists: Building a multi platform online presence for branding and publicity. Also helped with the preproduction of their transmedia film "Lost Generation", Contact Theatre, Mancheser: Working as part of their in house Video PodCast crew.
