Ross' work
About Ross
Dow Jones Co.
My name is Ross Hansen and I am writing regarding your Runner opportunity. I'm a graduate of Emerson College, and I saw your post on Indeed. I feel I'd be a great and useful addition to your team, and want the chance to prove it.
I am highly qualified.
During my study of Media Production at Emerson I've had courses in both writing and developing for Film and Television. In my final year at Emerson I interned with the small production company, Paradox Entertainment. It's a very small office and I was given a lot of responsibility. Most of my work there was writing coverage and creating research for their in- production projects, as well as serving essentially as both their receptionist and runner. For the past several months I've been serving as a Research Archivist, among other roles, at Cry Havoc Productions. There I was expected to locate free stock material to match the needs of their new network history show. I gradually advanced through that firm and ended providing research outlines for the writers and working for Emmy award winning producers Jacinda Davis and Terren Lin. I've also worked on several occasions as a runner within my ordinary duties as a PA.
I believe the only way to true success in this life is hard work and I carry that into any task I do. I deeply enjoy busy and at times chaotic situations and I have a strong track record of solving problems constructively. If given the opportunity, I will bring all my skills and enthusiasm to bare for the benefit of your company. I have a valid driver's license, a reliable car, and a clean driving record.
Thank you very much for considering my application. I am in Los Angeles and free to interview in person or to start at any time. I'm also available at any time by email at or by phone at .
Sincerely,
R. L. Hansen
