Blurb

Constantly developing my understanding of graphic design, my work benefits from varied inspirations and includes a unique combination of engaging layouts and intriguing illustrations. My aim is to produce artwork that has a strong visual message, using textures and combined elements to arrive at an appealing and evocative end solution. My diverse understanding of design and illustration has surfaced from an excellent grounding throughout my education, starting with my foundation year and continuing through my graphic design degree at Cheltenham Art School. My working career, initiated by becoming a freelancer immediately after finishing university, has aided both my understanding of a clients needs within a creative solution and my ability to work efficiently when presented with strict deadlines.

Since declaring myself as self-employed and setting up my own graphic design company, 'Her Indoors', I have gained valuable experience working within a highly competitive industry. Winning pitches against well-established design agencies whilst working as a solitary designer fills me with a great belief in my own work, and being allowed the chance to work alongside such companies as Island Records and Connaught Mason has been an extremely beneficial experience.
