About me

During my time at Middlesex, I was given an immense amount of opportunities to discover

many aspects of the world of design. We were given various projects which gave us experience

working in many mediums including constructing in wood, metal, plastic, ceramics, graphics,

typography, and photography and also got to explore architecture as well as interior design.

In my second year we were given a brief to design a poster to advertise the course, and my

design was chosen as the best, and in turn was printed and sent out to schools and colleges

around the UK. Also in my second year, a project of mine also got entered into the Royal Society

of Arts Design Direction competition in which I worked independently to create a Disabled

London Underground map for the Olympics in 2012.

I also came runner up in the Audi Design Foundation where we again worked independently

to create a product for people in South Africa using sustainable materials.

Being a strong-minded person I feel confident working individually but I also enjoy working

in teams alongside other creative people so I was able to develop my interpersonal, negotiation

and communication skills, and I am always willing to work above and beyond the call of duty

to get projects finished to a standard of my highest ability.
