About me

An enthusiastic, creative Media graduate looking for a junior position where i can apply my skills and natural creativity to a business.

I have worked very successfully within a group and was very successful at pitching creative ideas, and have often ended up being a leader, especially in terms of the creative ideas. This was especially evident in advertising modules where I worked on branding, the design of advertising campaigns through various media, right through to producing the print advertisements with extensive use of Photoshop. Furthermore I have explored creative ideas artistically through years of aesthetic imaging in my photography modules, and have a natural eye for layout, colour and the use of text, meaning and metaphor in my work.

My broader investigations into issues surrounding advertising such as new ways to target audiences, the psychology of audiences, branding, ownership and various critiques of advertising practice; have provided me with an understanding of the industry itself and the culture these advertisements are existing in. Furthermore, my analysing of advertisements in great detail has helped me to understand how to incorporate various meanings and messages in a way which targets specific markets effectively and most effectively for specific brands.

I am still eager to learn more in these fields and hope to find employment as a junior in an advertising or design based company that i can put all my enthusiasm into and continue to develop.
