About me

An enthusiastic, inquisitive and highly adaptable graduate seeking
an entry-level position in magazine publishing, I have developed
concise writing and editorial skills through extensive public sector
communications experience and am now extending my experience by taking
on freelance feature writing commissions.

My ideal role would be an editorial assistant. I have freelance
journalism experience, having commissioned work in Mixmag. I also
have work experience at Mixmag and the Essex Chronical. I manage and
edit a fashion blog called Style Cramp with two staff
writers.
I have communications and office management experience. Skills
include:
Editing - Perfect spelling, punctuation and grammar; imaginative and
consistent writing, excellent proofing eye, accurate fact and reference
checking
Communications - Content generation including writing, editing and
scheduling copy, blogging and reviewing, good social media
knowledge
Technical - Windows operating systems (touch typing speed of 75
words per minute), content management systems and blogging software,
HTML (basic)
