About me
Since 1992 I have worked as a Desktop Publisher in various fields and in extremely pressurised environments. My career path has led me to work for some of the most prestigious companies in London. This in turn has encouraged my confidence in the ability to work with, and alongside a wide range of extremely experienced high profile professionals. My core skills include company overview and design of presentations and corporate literature, having worked on redesigning intranet sites, onscreen presentations and booklets. My personal attributes include the ability to be proactive and deal with colleagues at all levels. I am able to work on my own initiative and a good team player. Work placements have often expected me carry out duties above and beyond an initial job specification. I am always keen to learn new technology as I feel that the description of the DTP operator is forever changing, especially in the current light of New Media and the World Wide Web. I decided to take a career break in August 2004, and have been working on various personal projects including renovating a property in South Wales and setting up my own fashion label.
