I have worked as a freelance graphic designer and VJ for the last 3 years as well as having 4 years experience in permanent in-house

graphic design positions. I am passionate about my career and wish to continue contributing to this field with

quality work. I also hold the relevant tertiary qualifications for the role; BA Visual Arts (Fine Arts) and BA Visual Media (Digital Design).

This has given me extensive skills in the following areas

• Creative skills

I have strong design skills which are applied over a variety of media; from print design, websites, motion graphics and

animation, DVD authoring to video editing. I am able to develop new approaches to complex design problems and deliver

them from concept to final production.

• Communication skills

I hold very strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills. I am able to collaborate effectively with clients and

others in a cross-functional team. I am able to prioritise and manage work within critical project timelines in a fast-paced

environment.

• Technical skills

I am highly proficient working in both Mac and PC environments with an extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite

including illustrator, indesign, photoshop, dreamweaver, after effect, premiere. I am also fluent in applications such as

Motion, Final Cut Pro, DVD studio pro and 3D studio Max and have an understanding of the various delivery platforms and

codecs used in TV production and video display online. I am able to learn any new software requirements and become

familiar with new platforms quickly.

• Administration skills

I am highly capable in providing clerical assistance within arts administration roles including records management, artist

scheduling, logistics, program requirements and events management skills

I am hard working and enthusiastic about creative solutions from start to finish; independently or as part of a productive team in order
