About me

I am an experienced and self-motivated graphic designer.

After working for more than ten years for an Italian advertising agency (i.e., "Diade Studio"), I expanded my international experience working as a freelance and temporary contractor for different private and public institutions in the United States of America, Germany, and most recently in the United Kingdom. I have been responsible for the design of marketing materials (corporate identities, websites, communication campaigns, and public expositions). My projects have been adopted by private and public institutions, and internationally recognized artists (e.g., Techno Trade Group, Ttake, Indiana University Bloomington, University of Trento, APLedro Italia). In my career, I have been responsible for designing company identities (e.g., logotypes, flyers, stationery, newsletters, websites, merchandising), and designing-planning of events, congresses, and expositions (e.g., print, websites, stands, and social media content).

After completing a Diploma in Graphic Design, Photography, and Animation at the Art Institute F. Depero (Italy), I worked for eleven years for the creative team of "Diade Studio" (a private advertising agency in Italy). As a graphic designer first and then a concept-project manager, I have been the main responsible for several design projects. I was the first contact for clients, organizing meetings and collecting requirements and deadlines. A few years before my international endeavour, I became a team leader and concept manager. I worked as lead designer and I was responsible for the final project approval of the clients. In this role, I have been the concept manager for the marketing materials of private and public institutions such as "Ttake" (identity logotype, branding guidelines, editorial publications and manuals, congress stands, web-design implementations), "Joeli" (identity logotype, labelling, and packaging), "Restaurea Group" (identity logotype, congresses materials), among many others. I lead on behalf of "Diade Studio" several external collaborations with other designers, photographers, illustrators, printers, and web-agency companies. These experiences made me an expert in typography, colours, composition, print processes, and user interactivity.

As a graphic designer and concept manager, I keep renovating my professional competencies and updating on new design solutions to tailor the best communication materials for my clients. While working for "Diade Studio", I graduated in Cultural Heritage at Trento University (Italy) strengthening my knowledge about visual arts and my organization skills. Since then I keep updating my fundamentals in graphic design by attending formal courses (e.g., LABA Academy, ECDL, Toefl, Linkedin Learning), open discussions with colleagues, and participating to design communities. Over the last 8 years period, I worked for international companies in the USA, Germany, and the United Kingdom. I had the exceptional opportunity to face the challenge of diverse communication nuances, and learn different design styles. This has improved my communication skills and it has expanded my cultural and communication background. An example is the booklet design of the Vital Group - International Students for the Monroe County Public Library (Bloomington, Indiana - USA). These experiences taught me how to face the challenge of creating design products appealing and at the same time respectful of different cultures and identity groups.
Now, I am the creative design manager of "APLedro Italia", an Italian artist brand that has been granted prestigious awards and is present in the international art market. I tailor the communication of "APLedro Italia" via the design of flyers, product descriptions, photoshoots, photo retouches, websites, web-design implementations, and stands at international expositions. While I had the pleasure to work as a graphic designer for Indiana University Bloomington, where I worked on the design of a permanent exposition for the Indiana University Paleontology Collection (concept, photos, and assemblage), I became a concept designer for the public engagement products of Dr. A. Leonardi (Researcher and Scientist). I keep designing logotypes, software images, personal research website, and exposition stands for scientific outreach and public engagement events. I bring to any work position scrupulous attention to detail, deadlines, and excellent professional and relationship-building skills. My proactive and self-motivating attitude allows me to be constructive and effective in problem-solving. I have strong experience working on large collaborative projects involving design, marketing, and website agencies. I have extensive knowledge and experience in the use of internal resources to achieve the best effective communication solutions. I efficiently adapt my workflow to different work environments-processes, software, website builder, and social media.
