Hi, I'm Rosalind Brookman and I'm a writer.

I have two sides to my business: writing and workshops. Firstly, I write, mostly, for small businesses (although I have several larger corporate clients as well): articles, blog posts, marketing materials, profiles and website copy. Basically, anything that needs writing while you focus on your business itself.

Secondly, I design and run writing and blogging workshops. My Write Freely workshop is based on something I'm passionate about: teaching people that they really can write once they've removed the barriers that stop them transferring their ideas on to paper or screen. I use free writing to give them permission to write without conscious thought or judgement and show them that there really is no such thing as Writer's Block. I have also run a Children's Writing Workshop using the same technique and will be moving into free writing tuition on a one-to-one basis in the future.

My Brilliant Business Blogging Workshop shows people exactly why, what and how they should be blogging in order to benefit their business. It's informal and interactive and gives them all the tools they need to go away and write an engaging blog post. This is given in either a 1.5 or 2 hour session and I've just developed a longer follow-up workshop where attendees can return and focus on writing and editing a post for publication.

I'm also in the process of organising my first day writing retreat - something which, on a larger scale, is my long-term goal.
