About me

I am an illustrator and designer who loves to communicate and create through drawing and imagery. I am looking for freelance illustration and design work, or a creative role that will allow me to combine my artistic talents with my commercial awareness and team working skills.

Experience includes: Book illustration, greetings cards, invitation and stationery design, logo and corporate ID, corporate Xmas cards, flyers and brochure design. Theatre posters, programme covers, promotional material. Computer game character concepts and design. Canvas portraits, Web Site Design, drawings for patent applications. Assisting with art workshops in schools, murals, portraits and paintings for private commissions.

I have developed a broad range of skills that have enabled me to understand all areas of the design process from creation and manufacture to promotion and distribution. I have travelled across Europe to present my work to clients, buy product and set up exhibitions. I communicate confidently with colleagues, international manufacturers and large corporations. I can train and direct staff, manage projects and successfully work to tight deadlines. I can work sympathetically to a client's brief, follow instructions, work as part of a team and delegate responsibilities.

I am fluent in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Front Page. I have good writing, drawing and technical skills. I am a quick learner, enthusiastic and versatile.
