About me

I am 26 year old Surface Designer.Drawing is my forte. I very much enjoy combining traditional methods with IT tools and image creation software. I have high level skills in illustration and Photoshop. I produce print ready, repeat patterns and colourways.

Recently I have begun developing a website. During work placements I have worked performing a number of tasks dying fabrics, assisting with the printing process, pattern cutting, constructing garments, embroidery and embellishments.

I have done a number of work placements. I feel they have extended my communication and organizational skills. Going into studios having to establish working relationships very quickly to establish what is expected of you during your time there. I feel a big strength of mine is being able to adapt to new environments very quickly. I get pleasure from speaking to all kinds of different people. I am easy going and professional at the same time.

I am able to manage a number of tasks in a short period of time. The area I am interested in being employed in the most are , large fashion and clothing retailers, design studios, small specialist design studios, interior design and decoration services. Ideally in printed textiles. I get stimulation from working with all kinds of colours. When I set my mind to design work I have a tremendous amount of concentration and focus. I am good intrepreting a cilents design.
