About me

I have worked professionally in the fields of graphic design and
illustration for the past 3 years.

I hold a Bachelor of Design (Honours) from Massey University majoring
in visual communication design and specialising in illustration.

I have recently moved from New Zealand to England and am keen to use
the skills I have gained in the UK design and publishing industry.

I have worked extensively with computers throughout my professional
career and have an excellent knowledge of design programs for both PC
and Mac including, photo image re-touching, artwork rendering, and
digital enhancement.

I also have experience in working with data storage, email
attachments, ftp uploads and maintaining databases.

I have proven experience in roles which require multitasking and
constant prioritisation. I have high organisational skills and can
work to short deadlines.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite CS4 (Photoshop, Indesign,
Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Knowledge of Coral Painter watercolor application.

• Proficient drawer, and painter using watercolour, oils and
acrylic.

• Experience in producing print ready documents e.g. magazine,
greeting cards, postcards and children's books.

• Skilled in project management and the design process.

• Skilled in photo re-touching, clear cutting and digital photo
manipulation.

• Excellent written, oral and visual communication skills.
