About me
I am a University Teacher at the University of Sheffield where I specialise in teaching Shorthand. My vision is to modernise the module to incorporate audio, video and real-life reporting to show the practicalities of the skill in the modern day world. I have a first class degree in journalism and I was a finalist for The Midlands Media Award 2015. I am always seeking new freelance opportunities and I pride myself in having a very adaptable writing style. I also recently completed a web presence project with Sheffield Hallam University where my role was Content Editor. My interests are travel, education and fashion journalism. I teach freelance where I specialise in media law and shorthand , my most recent role was with News Associates, Manchester. I am TEFL qualified and spent 6 months teaching English in Thailand. As a recent graduate I am always seeking new opportunities in journalism, education and travel.
