About me

I have extensive experience managing a wide range of communication channels, both in a large organisation and private business. My understanding of marketing comes from seven years working in luxury retail during which I undertook market research, client surveys and report-writing to analyse our clients' wants and future needs. I currently work within a brand new communications team for the United Grand Lodge of England and I am able to be very creative, however I feel that there is a structural element lacking from the team as it is so new, so I am now looking for a position that allows me to be both creative and strategy-focused, with an increase in responsibility.

Earlier this year I launched my own part-time freelance videography business, complete with social media channels and a professional website designed by myself. Since its inception, my company has produced professional corporate events videos, music videos and business promotion videos. I am solely in charge of planning, filming and editing which requires a high amount of creativity, organisation, communication and marketing skills.

During my time in the NHS, I was personally asked to create videos for the Medical Director, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive. I have made a name for myself as someone who executes work efficiently, professionally and uniquely. I am confident creating material such as magazines, posters and infographics - I personally deliver a quarterly improvement magazine to over 4000 staff, I have created successful poster campaigns for staff networks and I create an annual infographic displaying Trust statistics presented by the Chief Executive.

I am very passionate and I have a gift in that I can translate complex information to thousands of staff at a time in easy-to-understand ways. I am creative and pride myself in thinking of new ideas and pushing boundaries, I also hugely enjoy interacting with people. I am looking for a change of scene to a more efficient team full of people as enthusiastic as myself.
