I am a self motivated, hard working individual with a strong passion for creativity, communication and technical practice.

In my free time I enjoy cycling, walking, camping and running. I am enthusiastic about science, particularly astronomy, however I take great pleasure in listening to rock music and reading fiction novels.

Sector Experience

In June 2012 I finished a voluntary graduate placement at Glad Creative; a fresh and successful graphic design consultancy based in the heart of the Gateshead Quays, Tyne and Wear. During the course of my placement I was responsible for supporting the senior designers in new and ongoing assignments. Working primarily in Adobe Illustrator I was involved in areas of branding, print design, logo design and illustration drawing. Over the course of the three months I was exposed to studio photography and experienced practical insights into printing and professional client interface. I have also acquired new design skills to complement my profile., The Northumberland Rivers Trust is a voluntary run charity operating in the North East of England to maintain, improve and protect rivers and streams flowing into the North Sea, North of the Tyne and South of the Tweed. In August last year I was approached by the organisation to design the logo for their new website.
