About me

My most recent working experience is with Wyndeham Pre Press LTD, London where I was employed for 4 years. We were a five person team and initially we did all the retouching, (editorial, covers and promos) required for many of National Magazine's titles. However during the last `8 months of my employment we concentrated only on covers and promotions. Some of the titles I've worked on were, Esquire, Harpers & Queen, Coast, Country Living, She, Cosmopolitan, Cosmopolitan Bride, You and your Wedding, etc. The latter four were fashion based requiring extensive retouching, comping, use of special colours, colour correcting, and colour matching. The job also required using some Illustrator and InDesign to place the images in pages and out putting and checking PDF's using Adobe Acrobat.

I have 3 more years experience in pre press while working for Westside Digital, (now bankrupt) where I was in a similar role as at Wyndeham. Other useful experience was gained while working for 20 years as a professional photographer in a freelance role and for museums, galleries and industry as an employee. My work as a photographer comprised commercial, fine art, portrait, documentary and scientific photography.
