About me

An East London based freelance journalist and trend forecaster for the design industries Rohini has previously held the position of Interiors and Industrial Design Editor at research and advisory service Stylus and has consulted for trend services WGSN, Unique Style Platform, Seymore Powell and consumer publications Elle Decoration, Living Etc, Houzz and Conde Nast Traveller.

Her role as a trend consultant requires her to stay at the forefront of innovations in art, design, culture, tech, media and pivotal events relevant and newsworthy to our cultural landscape. Regularly traveling to the US and India, Rohini draws from a pool of global design knowledge, inspiration and influences in her work.

Working with a broad spectrum of influential global brands including Samsung, Target, M&S, Ikea and the Marriott, Rohini has conducted workshops, produced seasonal forecasts and spearheaded presentations giving brands targeted insight and inspiration that help shape the future of their business.

She is also the founder of long-running interiors and lifestyle blog The Beat That My Heart Skipped.
