With my films or videos, I want to give viewers the best entertainment possible.
Whether it's a 12-hour TV series, a 2-hour film or a 30-second commercial, my way is to have the right script with the right actors and stage it with the right people, and I am the creative glue that brings it all together and to create the best possible version.
As an award-winning German film director with over 25 years of experience in the global film industry, I am known for the Netflix TV Series The Platform, Brave, Ceres, Comedy and Crimes Series as well as TV Adverts. I have directed and produced feature films, TV series, advertising campaigns, TV commercials, music videos, corporate films and documentaries. My strength is the combination of creativity and logic. I have both been in front of the camera, filmed as a cinematographer, written my short films and TV series and films with writers and then started directing some feature films and TV series - which is now my main work and passion.

I see the scene before shooting in my head,
I hear the sound,
I create my decks,
I brainstorm with my team, producers and investors,
I plan the production accordingly,
and voilà, a new little world is born.
