About me

Hi,

My name is Rochelle O'Garro and I am a recent Bsc Multimedia Computing Graduate. I first became interested in Human Computer Interaction and Digital Design in the second year of my Multimedia degree at University. I was introduced to a module which demonstrated the different techniques used to design for specific users. Since then, I have explored Human Computer Interaction and Digital Design further and it has confirmed my decision to aim for a career in this field.

For my final project, I decided to develop a flash science website for children between the ages of 7-9 years old. The project required researching considerations for this age group including design guidelines and child development theories. I felt great satisfaction completing this project on time and I was awarded a 2:1.

I am organized and I have developed leadership skills and responsibility. These are qualities that I have obtained from experience. I know that this is a very demanding industry that requires working under pressure to produce quality work to tight deadlines. My degree in multimedia computing taught me how to adapt my creativity according to project briefs and how to employ good communication skills in any work environment.

I'm hard working and always produce high quality work to my best ability. I always meet deadlines. I have experience using many software packages including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Flash and Adobe Illustrator. I understand the importance of learning new skills and I am able to rapidly learn how to use other software's.

I would be most grateful if you considered me for this position within your company. I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

My current CV can be found in my profile and my online portfolio is available on */

Yours sincerely,

Rochelle O'Garro
