Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing in response to an advertisement for an Artworker/Junior Designer on creative pool. Reference APP/E/J53112

I have recently completed a BA hons in Graphic Design and a PG Cert in Leadership and Career Development. I have some industry experience producing work for Ionic Systems in Swindon and Interior Control in Stamford. With the knowledge and skills I have gained I now wish to pursue a career in design.

Over the past four years I have become passionate about print based work and have a keen interest in typography, colour and layouts. I am proficient of working with various adobe CS suite programmes, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-Design. From my previous graphic design experience, I am able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and ensure that my work is produced to a high standard.

I am self motivated, and enjoy working in a creative team and have the ability to communicate with managers and colleagues alike. I think this will be a great opportunity for me to develop my skills, and I think I can make a significant contribution to your design team.

I am currently working in as a waitress on £6.08 per hour; I am available to start work as soon as possible, as I am eager to start my career.
