About me

I am an art director with over twenty years experience across a broad range of disciplines. I have extensive experience of magazine design (news-stand, customer and B2B), art direction, brand development and illustration. Currently I'm employed as Art Director at Wardour Publishing where I produce a range of titles spanning finance, general interest and charity titles. Prior to this I was Lead Designer for Time Inc where I managed a team of six designers developing branded content for Marie Claire, Look, Now and Woman&Home. This experience allows me to produce effective campaigns for varied demographics. A substantial part of this role involved the commissioning, art direction and retouching of beauty shoots, as well as the development of logos and branding for commercial partnerships. Prior to this I was Group Art Director at United Business Media where I helped to develop their portfolio of business awards and magazines, increasing subscriptions year on year and turning The National Business Awards into the largest and most successful business programme in Europe.
