About me
I'm a multidisciplinary art director working both agency side and in-house, with extensive experience in every aspect of the industry over a 25-year career. I've thrived in large teams, small teams, teams of one and worked with everyone in the business from the company President to the Mail Room Clerk. From UI to UX, illustration to print, branding and marketing, I've written scripts for research in international testing environments, wrapped an airplane in livery, and worked on a Guinness World Record. I'm meticulous in my attention to detail and have worked with many brands worldwide, from 20th Century Fox to Sony Pictures Animation and LEGO to Marvel.
My UX and interface design on the LEGO Shop meant that during the first week of publication, the site sold more toys than it had in all the previous years combined, rescuing the business and establishing LEGO as the leading toy company in the world. The same UX foundation is still used site-wide today.
Over my 12 years with Expedia as a Senior Communications Designer I managed and art directed all of internal coms, guided the manager of the UX team, designed the branding and marketing before directing and editing films for all hackathons.
I've written and run an in-house Creative Suite course teaching both junior designers and marketing management teams Photoshop. While I have a very relaxed and amiable approach to management, I'm relentlessly striving for self-improvement in all aspects of my work and would love the chance to use my knowledge and experience to help you continue to succeed.
