About me

I'm Robert - a passionate, ambitious, process-driven Studio Manager with 8 years experience as a Creative Artworker. I've earned my strong and varied skill set having worked on print and digital campaigns for brands including Hammerson PLC, Tesco, PANDORA, David Lloyd, Laithwaite's Wines, MAOAM and Pizza Express.

I have a great fascination with design, and am always exploring new avenues to develop my creative abilities, be that embracing new software, expanding my knowledge via lynda, or simply staying up-to-date with the latest Adobe CC releases. Comfortable working in fast-paced, results driven teams, I pride myself on my calm demeanour and organisation skills.

My current role at isobel Advertising consists of managing a studio team of up to 10 people and Creative Artworking. Collaborating with isobel's Account Teams and Senior Management, I hold responsibility for trafficking jobs daily through the studio. This involves dissecting and delegating briefs to a multi-disciplined team, whose expertise range from motion design/editing and digital design, to retouching, technical/creative artworking and conceptual design.

I run meetings with the agency's Account Teams to anticipate and prioritise workloads, which are then plotted via Resource Guru - a scheduling tool I introduced to map projects and resource accurately for the agency. I also hold responsibility for sourcing all freelance studio support, liaising with a range of recruiters to identify the desired skill sets.

In my role as a Senior Artworker, I work across print, digital and motion. I have experience of crafting Keynote presentations for new business pitches and establishing brand guidelines for clients, alongside updating isobel's website via the Wordpress CMS platform.

I'm at the stage in my career where I'm looking to take on a role that offers diversity and new opportunities. I'm looking for a job that will challenge my existing skill set whilst enabling me to learn from a prestigious and innovative team.
