About me

My name is Roberto Valussi, a 29 years old video journalist already author of a 42 minutes reportage about Kosovo, several campaigning videos for NGOs and, on top of that, spoof videos.

Having worked three years within various media organisations and as a freelance, I believe to be ready to give a significant and original contribution to the Telegraph Media Group.

My academic background - as a top graduate in International Relations at the University of Bologna - and my different experiences abroad have deepened my ability to pitch stories, tell them through the video, and reach out a wide audience.

Some of my videos are still available in internationally renowned website, such as Osservatorio Balcani and Transconflict, and were screened in Amnesty International Center in London.

Recently I also upgraded my skills set through attending an 8 weeks Documentary Course Production run by the award winning journalist Ken Fero.

Along with competence in terms of video-making, I can also offer a solid background as a journalist specialised in International Relations and International migration issue. Since 2008, I have been covering these topics by broadcasting in English and Italian radio, as well as filing for several newspapers and magazines

Please, refer to my attached CV for a more detailed description of my activities and for finding the links to my samples of work.

I hope my profile can raise your interest and it will give the opportunity to discuss more in detail my interest for this job position.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Roberto Valussi
