Dear Sirs

I would like to submit my CV to support my application for the advertised position in Creative Pool "Studio Manager"

I am an experienced program manager currently employed by Nokia where I am responsible for all the design projects within the Mobile Phones portfolio. I work with and lead mixed discipline design times and project managers who work on a variety of projects that feed into the product program - i.e. Product Design, Colors and Materials, Packaging , Artwork Graphics UI Sound and Packaging. My current role requires me to set and deliver the strategic operational approach and development for the Mobile Phones creative team and lead the team of project managers who work on individual design projects.

Prior to my employment with Nokia I worked within the Interior and Graphic Design market for for 11 years where I held a mix of operational management, project management and account management roles.

In all I hold over 17 years experience of working within design and as such am highly competent in driving design projects and leading design teams through the various phases or life-cycle of a project be it conceptual studies to fit out, production, print or launch. I am also adept at handling customer accounts and am able to engage with clients obtaining the brief and requirements in the first instance to keeping the customer updated on progress business updates and manage any concerns.

Whilst I enjoy my current role I am sure you are aware of the current problems facing Nokia and whilst I have been offered a retention to stay on with the company I would rather look for any possibilities outside of the company - as such I would appreciate if you would consider my application for the current vacancy.
