Dear Sir/Madam,Over the past year and a half I have been working for Redstone Converged Solutions in the role of a CAD Technician. In this role my responsibilities included designing and producing detailed structured cabling drawings such as floor plans, building schematics, frame layouts and isometric drawings using AutoCAD. However prior to this my role at a coffee company involved a design engineering approach where I was responsible for creating 3D CAD models (from initial concept stage to the final stage of production) of products to be used in coffee kiosks. These included advertising poster holders to be fixed on the front of the kiosks and plastic air vents to direct hot air out of the kiosk expelled from milkshake machines. Other duties comprised of designing and developing shop-fit layouts, managing supplier negotiation and carrying out site surveys for all current and prospective sites. I have an extensive knowledge of several 2D/3D CAD packages including Autocad, I-deas, Solidworks and Rhinoceros. I am a self-motivated individual with the demonstrative ability to work under pressure to deliver a high standard of work. I can work effectively individually or as part of a team and can be flexible in my approach.
