About me

I am an enthusiastic design and communications craftsman with excellent artworker skills including retouching, technical illustrations and packaging. I am soon to complete my contract as a creative artworker with Aurora, an international lighting company, due to the design department relocating to America.

Adaptable and quick to learn, I have experience within a variety of areas within the design industry. I have worked with corporate branding, in-house visual identity guidelines, creating and using templates and style sheets, delivering typesetting, design and artwork for universities, finance companies, a law firm, a design agency, a supermarket, a scientific institute and international companies. I have a thorough understanding of digital and web press printing processes and have dealt with reprographics and print suppliers. I have also been responsible for communicating with overseas designers while outsourcing a variety of design work, involving briefing, problem solving and reviewing of progress and quality.

Having experienced a diverse working environment, projects undertaken thus far have enabled me to develop a quick understanding of specialist terminology, with the ability to relay technical information accurately whilst maintaining a high quality of work.

I have a methodical approach to tasks and projects allowing inspiration, motivation and dedication to combine enabling me to work efficiently under the pressure of deadlines, maintain a keen eye for detail, and take pleasure from a job well done.
