About me

I currently work as a reporter for a local newspaper, where my duties include finding, researching and writing articles, as well as proofreading and subediting, taking photographs and conducting interviews.

For my previous job, I was at Govnet Communications, where I worked as production assistant on six public sector-based publications, including Defence Director, Criminal Justice Management and Government IT. My duties included copy-chasing, paginating the magazines, signing-off the magazines, interviewing particular clients and writing their advertorials, proof reading, subbing, and researching/writing editorials.

I have gained invaluable knowledge of the various media industries whilst at my previous jobs. I am enthusiastic, friendly, and am a clear communicator. I am equally capable of working in a team or on my own, and am comfortable working to strict deadlines. I am also highly creative, yet with a sharp eye for detail, and take pride in my work.
