About me

I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design and have worked as a designer for a large power tool company, Silverline Tools. In this position I used Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign CS3 on a daily basis to design brochures, adverts and packaging for a range of hand and power tools. In this job I was involved in product photography, packaging design, page layout and the design of general banners, buttons and adverts to be used in the brochures.

Currently I work as a Search Engine Optimisation strategist. In addition to general designing duties I collect information and organise marketing strategies for over a hundred clients. This includes the writing of articles and proof reading materials before they go online. I also use social media websites to help increase exposure for clients' news. I am also involved in the development of our websites including creating bug reports and suggesting site improvements. I have basic html knowledge and am keen to learn more. I also design a lot of elements for use on the websites such as banners and buttons. I have also recently been involved in the re-branding of the company and have been designing brochures and other materials.
