About me

House of Bert is the home of designer and director, Robbie Steer. He answers to many names, 'Robert', 'Rob' and of course 'Bert'. Over the last 25 years Bert's been generating ideas and creating loads of nice things for lots of nice people. From brochures to brands, illustrations to exhibitions; you name it, he's designed it.
Notable clients include: Virgin Media, Imperial College London, Women of Union, Anthem Schools Trust, Favini, More Than Equal, Suffolk Libraries, Britten-Pears Arts (formerly Snape Maltings), Norfolk & Norwich Festival, Maggie's, Royal Mail, Essex County Council, Suffolk Mind and Education Development Trust.

He is also a lecturer at Norwich University of the Arts supporting students on both the BA (Hons) Graphic Communication and Fashion Communication courses.

His house is place for other creatives far and wide to come together under one friendly roof. So if you're a nice person and would like us to design something nice for you, there's only one thing to do...
